Live tracking
Our position is transmitted via AIS (Automatic Identification System) whenever we are within range of a coastal VHF station. Many commercial and recreational vessels use AIS, which allows others to track their location in real time. If you’d like to learn more about how AIS works, read more here.
Satellite tracking
When we are offshore (>12nm) and coastal AIS stations are not able to pick up our signal anymore we switch to satellite tracking. You can follow us here:
